Terms of sale


Fantastic Furniture operates on a cash and carry basis. Full payment for your purchase is required before pick-up or delivery of your purchase. We do not accept payment on delivery.

Delivery and pick-up

Once your products arrive, we will contact you to arrange pick-up or delivery. If delivery cannot be made at the arranged time, for example if you are not home, additional delivery fees will apply for a second delivery. If you have arranged to pick up your goods, we would appreciate it if these goods are collected within 7 days.


Have you changed your mind?

We understand that choosing the right furniture is not easy. Sometimes things will be too big, too small or simply aren’t right. So you can shop with confidence, you can simply return any purchase to the store you bought it from within 7 days of purchase and exchange it for another item or refund as long as:

You have clear proof of purchase, such as a receipt;

The product and its packaging is in original condition, including any manuals and accessories; and

The product is not an excluded product (see list below).

We do not offer ‘change of mind returns’ on the following products:

Mattresses; and

My Choice products

Please be aware that a 20% administration fee applies if you cancel an order for a My Choice product that was in no way the fault of the company.


Fantastic Furniture Quality Guarantee

All Fantastic Furniture products come with the Fantastic Furniture Quality Guarantee so you can shop with complete piece of mind.

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law: Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.


What is the Fantastic Furniture Quality Guarantee?

Fantastic Furniture will repair or replace any product with a manufacturing or materials fault for the duration of the Quality Guarantee period.

The Fantastic Quality Guarantee only applies to products that are used for normal domestic purposes and excludes products used for commercial purposes. The Quality Guarantee applies to the original purchaser only and is not transferable.


What is the Fantastic Quality Guarantee period?

The duration of the Fantastic Quality Guarantee is different for different product. Each period starts from the date of purchase.

Applies to all Home Accessory
products, including rugs, cushions,
lamps, wall art and mirrors.

Applies to selected products across the Fantastic Furniture product range.
Refer to the individual product for the specified warranty period. Applies to all sofa fabric covers.

Applies to selected local and imported sofas. Refer to the individual product for the specified warranty period.

Applies to selected local and imported sofas. Refer to individual product 
for the specified warranty period.

Applies to selected products across
the Fantastic Furniture product range.

Applies to selected mattresses. Refer to the individual product for the specified warranty period. Applies to all platinum mattress bases and posture bed slats.


The Quality Guarantee does not apply to: 

Normal wear and tear, including pilling, fading, loss or deterioration (of the whole of the product or its components);

Damage caused by improper use, cleaning, negligence, treatment, transportation, storage of the products or otherwise caused by your acts and/ or omissions;

Damaged caused through any modifications, alterations, improper assembly, tampering or products used in an abnormal manner and not for the products intended purposes;

Damage caused by exposing the products to the sun, extreme heat or cold, or chemicals/agents that are known to damage the finish of the product;

Body impressions on mattresses, sofas and chairs where the indentation is less than 32mm;

The cost of transporting the Product to and/or from the specified place of repair or replacement;

Damages caused by Act of God; or,

Defects in products that are sold “As Is” which have been brought to your attention.


How do I claim?

If you believe that your product is defective, you can make a claim by contacting your nearest Fantastic Furniture store.

You will need to provide proof of purchase, normally your receipt, as part of your claim.


Transportation costs

For the duration of the Quality Guarantee

Fantastic Furniture will not charge you any transportation fees for pick up or drop off should the product be deemed to fail under the Quality Guarantee.
