Made to Order Terms & Conditions

Where you purchase a specific sofa, ottoman, armchair and/or bedhead where you then choose the fabric and leg finishes available from Fantastic Furniture to customise such product, this will be deemed a Made to Order product (Made to Order).

The following terms apply to all purchases made through the Made to Order service offered by Fantastic Furniture. By placing an order, you agree to the following:

  1. Custom Design and Production
    • As noted, Made to Order allows you to customise those selected sofas, ottomans, armchairs and bedheads by choosing from a wide range of fabrics and leg finishes. Because each Made to Order product is a custom order, please allow additional time for production and delivery. Estimated timeframes will be provided at the time of purchase.
  2. Deposit and Payment
    • A minimum deposit of 30% of the total purchase price of the product is required at the time of placing your Made to Order, order. The balance must be paid in full prior to delivery or collection. Payment can be made using any of our accepted payment methods in store or online.
  3. Cooling Off Period
    • You may cancel your order within five (5) days of placing it. If you cancel within this cooling off period, your deposit will be refunded in full.
  4. Cancellations After Cooling Off Period
    • You may cancel your order at any time prior to delivery. However, if you cancel after the five (5) day cooling off period, the following will apply:
      • 30% of the Made to Order product price will be retained by us due to the custom nature of the product and the costs incurred in manufacturing your design; and
      • If applicable, other items associated with your order will be refunded in full.
  5. Changes to Orders
    • After the cooling off period, no changes can be made to your order.
  6. Product Representation
    • We recommend viewing fabric samples in store or requesting a sample before placing your order. While we make every effort to display colours accurately, variations may occur due to screen settings, lighting or dye batches.
    • If a store does not have the swatch available and you choose to proceed without viewing a physical sample, any variation in colour or texture will not be considered a fault. In this case, the decision to proceed is at your own risk.
  7. Delivery and Collection
    • Delivery fees apply and vary depending on your location and the size of your order. Estimated delivery timeframes will be confirmed once your order has been placed. You will be contacted to arrange a suitable delivery or collection time once your item is ready.
    • If you are unable to accept delivery or collect your item when it is ready, the following will apply:
      • We will hold your order for up to 21 days. After this period, if the items are not collected or delivered,  30% of the Made to Order product price will be retained by us due to the custom nature of the product and the costs incurred in manufacturing your design.
      • Your item/s will be available for resell.
  8. Returns and Change of Mind
    • Made to Order items are custom made to your specifications. As such, our standard 30-day change of mind policy does not apply to these products.
    • Once your Made to Order item has been delivered or collected, we are unable to offer a refund or exchange due to change of mind. Please choose carefully and ensure you are happy with your selections before placing your order.
  9. Warranty and Australian Consumer Law
    • Warranty and Australian Consumer Law All Made to Order products are covered by our standard warranty and your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. For more information, please refer to our Warranty and Returns Policies.
