Q - I purchased furniture and it was delivered today and I now realise that I should have bought a larger TV Stand, can I change my mind?

A - At Fantastic Furniture we want you to be satisfied, so if you want to change your mind, you can within 7 days of receipt of your furniture. Simply bring the unsuitable item back in the original purchase condition and we will credit you towards something more suitable. Your original purchase docket will also be required.


Q - What sort of finance do you have available?

A - Finance is available for approved customers, with low payments on a monthly basis for ease of budgeting and no deposit is required. Visit your closest store to apply as applications can only be made in person. You will need to bring in one form of photo identification (current Australian Drivers licence, passport, proof of age card, or laminated tertiary student card) and two other forms of ID from the following: credit card, ATM card, Medicare card, council rates notice, telephone (excluding mobile phone) bill, gas bill, and electricity bill. Our friendly store staff can answer all your questions on the terms and conditions to our finance options.

Q - When can I have the furniture?

A - Our stores keep a large amount of popular stock in their warehouses for quick delivery. However if you require something which is currently out of stock, we can still get it for you if you place an order and we'll contact you when it arrives. The store will confirm the estimated waiting time when you enquire. Different products have different lead times.


Q - What package deals do you have?

A - Our package deals range from Bedrooms for $399 through to a house full of furniture from $1999. You choose the style; contemporary, classic or modern? We'll have the fully co-ordinated look ready to go for one low price, and all 100% guaranteed.


Q - Can I pay over the phone or Cash On Delivery?

A - When purchasing furniture, we think it's important that you touch, try and feel it first so we encourage you to visit the store closest to you. We do not take full payment over the phone but we can take a deposit by credit card if you know what you want and need to order over the phone. The balance owing must be paid at the store or alternatively call the store and they can give you the details to make an EFT payment online.


Q - Can I change different products in a package deal?

A - There is some flexibility with our package deals. Some items can be exchanged for others, depending on what you need. For example, if a package includes a two-seat sofa, but a sofa bed is what you need, we can adjust the price and order a sofa bed instead. Other things you might like to upgrade or add on are: better mattresses, better grades of fabric, and of course, fabric protection on sofas. You can also make your own package if nothing else suits.


Q - When are your stores open?

A - Almost all Fantastic Furniture showrooms are open 7 days a week. Hours are Monday to Friday 9am - 5.30pm Late Night, Saturday 9am - 5pm, Sunday and Public Holidays 10am - 5pm. Mandurah and Rockingham are open every Sunday from Dec 1 - April 30, and all Sundays during school holidays and long weekends from May 1 - Nov 30 in accordance with Council regulations. Each store's warehouses have different opening hours for furniture pick-ups. It is advisable to call the store first before going to pick up your order. In Sydney Metro Stanmore Store closes at 6pm each weekday, as does Richmond in Melbourne.


Q - What other furniture do you have?

A - We have furniture for all rooms of your home and office, in a large variety of styles, colours and sizes, and always at the best value for money price. Remember, all our items are available individually as well as in packages. Lounge, Dining, Bedroom, Study or Rumpus - we are sure you'll find something suitable!


Q - What guarantees do you have?

A - We make it / We sell it / We guarantee it! A large percentage of the furniture we sell is actually made in our own factories in Sydney! The Fantastic Lounge Factory gives a 5-year structural (the frame of the sofa) warranty and a 10-year foundational (the seat webbing) warranty. All other furniture items we sell have warranty. See in store for other warranties as some specific items have extended warranties.


Q - How can I make my furniture last longer?

A - There are some very simple things you can do to look after your furniture so it will last longer.

Sofas - When you order a sofa from us we can treat it with Sofa Shield Fabric Protection before it is delivered. This will stop any oil or water based spillage from staining the fibres of the fabric.

Leather - It is important to care for leather furniture as it will "age" if not cleaned and conditioned regularly. We have leather care kits available in two sizes, which include a cleanser and a conditioner. A handy hint - conditioning your new leather sofa before using it will help protect against stains.

Timber Veneer - You can clean and protect your timber or veneer surfaces with our range of furniture care products which are sold in all Fantastic Furniture stores. There are no ingredients which are harmful to your furniture, it contains natural oils and colourless waxes. We highly recommend this product!


Q - I have chosen products from your website and I'd like to get a price for my package. Can I get a discount if I pay cash.

A - Call our store closest to you and speak to the friendly sales staff. Let them know the products you are interested in and ask for a quote. If they're caught in a sales rush they'll call you back if you leave your name and number. Rest assured at Fantastic Furniture we always show our best price the first time. We don't inflate our prices, so that we can then give discounts. We sell for our lowest price everyday so you don't need to haggle.


Q - I have a complaint or a problem I need to have rectified. What do I do.

A - From time to time things can and do go wrong. When something does go genuinely wrong : our Fantastic Furniture staff at the store where you made the purchase from are empowered to fix any problem that is our responsibility. Please call the store direct and notify them of your issue. Of course if you do so, and your genuine problem is not rectified, write in to Mr Furniture with your name, invoice number and outline of your problem. Mr Furniture can follow it through.


Q - I've had a really great shopping experience at Fantastic Furniture and I want you to know about it. How do I let you know.

A - You can call the Store Manager where you made the purchase and tell them your story. Or send a letter to the store. If email is easier for you, write to Mr Furniture who will follow it through. You can also post a letter if you prefer. We are glad you had a happy shopping experience and we hope to see you again when you next need furniture.


Q - I'd like to place an order for some goods but want to know if you have them available, what the delivery charge is and when I can expect delivery.

A - It's best to call the store that is closest to you. They'll tell you if it's available, what the delivery charge is and when we can deliver to you. You can even place an order over the phone at this time if you wish. You'll have to leave a small deposit over the phone with credit card, then call into the store to finalise your purchase. You cannot pay the total amount of the purchase over the phone.


Q - I already have an order with one of your stores and I'm just following up on when I can expect delivery.

A - If it's still within the time frame originally quoted to you, rest assured the store will contact you as soon as your order is available. We like to move our stock out of our warehouses quickly to make room for the next delivery. If it's now outside the manufacturing time estimated to you then call the store directly and they will give you an update. Luckily it doesn't happen often but if your order is taking a bit longer than we expected, we apologise and thank you very much for your patience.


Q - I need the dimensions for a product I'm interested in. How can I get the dimensions without visiting the store with my measuring tape?

A - Many of our products featured on our website have dimensions included but if they're not just call the closest store and they'll give you the dimensions you need. They all have a dimensions chart in easy reach which lists most of our products.


Q - I live in the NT and I love the look of your furniture. How can I order when you don't have stores in these states?

A - As we don't have stores in the NT yet we are unable to arrange deliveries to you. Freight is something you would have to co-ordinate with a carrier to pick up from the store that is the closest to you. You would need to ensure the carrier had proper insurances to cover any possible damages in transportation. There is also the cost of returning the goods if you ever needed a warranty repair or service. So you need to balance out the pros and cons and get a couple of quotes for freight costs.


Q - I'm moving soon and I want to buy my furniture from you, as there is a Fantastic Furniture store near there. There is no Fantastic Furniture where I currently live, so how can I place an order?

A - Email to Mr Furniture a list of the products you would like to order, an estimate of when you need the furniture by and the suburb & state you're moving to. Mr Furniture will be happy to supply you a quote and when you want to place an order you can email Mr Furniture to let him know. We're happy to assist with your furniture needs to help with your big move.

Q - I've been looking, at beds on your website and I want to know if mattresses are included in the price of the bed?

A - Our bed only prices are for the bed frame and slat base only. Mattresses are additional and as customers preferences & comfort levels are different, it's best to visit the store closest for a look and a lay down on our excellent range of mattresses. We have 10 different feels and price points for you to choose from between $199 to $999 for our excellent innerspring mattress range. We start with our basic range of mattresses and go up to our luxurious premium range of mattresses. This way you can add on the mattress that best suits your comfort and price range.
